The morning we met for their engagement session was absolutely perfect and was meant-to-be! They wanted a snowfall engagement session, we scheduled weeks out with little chance that it would actually be snowing on their day. Here's a glimpse into our perfect snowy morning....

I had it in my mind to change the way I see boudoir pictures... to push myself to see these types of sessions as an artist more than a photographer. I purchased a new camera recently with these intentions. I couldn't be happier with how my first test run went with the camera and this new journey and style of photography that I've been longing to promote.

I recently flew down to Georgia to capture "Save-the-date" photos for Jerica, my little sister. After getting stuck in Friday Atlanta traffic (which is the worst!) we had about 14 minutes to shoot (on the side of the road) since we couldn't beg the sun to stay up any longer for us. There is something special about small intimate weddings. There's something even more special about the love between these two and how Meda has such a contagious smile that I can't help but smile back at my screen. The weather was perfect, traditional paper cranes filled the space with color, and laughter could be heard all day long. This is the day they sealed their love on a beautiful winter day…..
